As the EIP-AGRI Network has become part of the EU CAP Network, this website will no longer be updated after 1 April 2023. It will remain available in a static form as a reference of all previous EIP-AGRI activities. All interactive features such as the login, the main search function of the website, and the advanced filtering of the databases (e.g. project database and collaborative areas) will no longer be available. You will find all the new and up-to-date information on the EU CAP Network website.

Today, many farmers are already using digital technologies such as smartphones, tablets, in-field sensors, drones and satellites. These technologies provide a range of farming solutions such as remote measurement of soil conditions, better water management, and livestock and crop monitoring.
By analysing the data collected, farmers can for example gain insight into likely future crop patterns or animal health and welfare. This enables them to plan more effectively and be more efficient.
Digitisation can increase profitability, improve working conditions for farmers, and reduce the environmental impacts of agriculture.
