Teagasc will host the European Grassland Federation 27th General Meeting (EGF 2018) in Cork, Ireland from 17 – 21 June 2018. Cork is the second biggest city in Ireland and is located in the heart of dairying in Ireland. The conference will offer delegates the first hand opportunity to see and experience dairy, beef and sheep production from grassland. Ruminant agriculture in Ireland is a major contributor to the Irish economy and is strongly export based. Irish agriculture prides itself on its green image from high quality produce originating from grazed pasture.
