German Operational Group develops job opportunities for people with disabilities

As the EIP-AGRI Network has become part of the EU CAP Network, this website will no longer be updated after 1 April 2023. Based on the provisional agreement for the new Common Agricultural Policy (2023-2027), Operational Groups and other EU-funded innovative projects will be able to tackle a broader range of challenges in agriculture, forestry and rural areas, including social innovation. The German Operational Group project ‘InnoLAWI’ has already explored rural challenges and social innovation. The project has been developing job opportunities for people with disabilities in the agricultural sector. Inclusive employment is offered on seven pilot farms, to combine agriculture and social work.
